Community Involvement
City Boards. I am currently the Chairman of Planning and Zoning Commission and have served on the Parks and Recreation Commision for the City of Sachse. I was also a member of the Charter Review Commission and was Vice Chairman of the recent City Bond Commission.
Community Awareness. I am a member of the Sachse Chamber of Commerce, Fall Fest planning committee, Quail Hollow Board of Directors, and Friends of the Library.
Emergency Preparedness. I am a member or the Sachse Community Emergency Response Team, Sachse Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES).
Church & Family. We are members of the North Pointe Church of Christ where we are involved with the Youth and Children's Ministries. Our church is purchasing property in Sachse in order to build here. We are also a foster family for Christianworks for Children.
Youth Activities. When my kids were younger, I was heavily involved in Boy Scouts of America, PTA Board, Board of Directors of the Turnpike Christian School and more recently the Wylie High School Choir Boosters.
